Two weeks ago I received the Luminess Airbrush Makeup Kit with 4 foundation colors, bronzer, highlighter, base, and 2 options of blush.
I started with the base (or primer) as the DVD instructed me. It was easy enough seeing as it was just a clear liquid. Because of my fair complexion I could only use the lightest of the colors. For the cost of $169 I can only use one of the tiny bottles and this alone seemed like a waste of money and product but on we go. This step took many trials. I would make circles as directed and it would NEVER cover up those terrible blemishes. I had to put so many layers on that it would just start running. Just a recommendation on this foundation, please include a concealing wand or something because the foundation doesn't cut it. So I move on to the bronzer. Then I that step up quickly with a "Never Again." statement, unless you're into terrible spray tans that is. There was no transition of color. No choice in light, slightly darker, a little dark, etc. You had white and pumpkin orange. This isn't Jersey Shore guys. Once again I start over and skip this step. I put on just a little highlight and its looking good so I add that touch of blush and I'm done right?
Let's get a feel of this face.
Lookin Good!
But upon closer inspection every last piece of peach fuzz was painted. Why can't the close up ever be good? So the claim to erase flaws instantly? It took forever and some concealer beneath for that to even work but I'll give that claim a 5.2.
Next claim would be that it is dermatologist recommended and that is a very bold claim guys. I get how the lack of a nasty brush can back up your claim. No bacteria in air right? I broke out terribly by using this product. Though you may be right on your nasty brush idea, did you think about how the makeup is so thin that it seeps into every one of those little pores? THE worst makeup break out I've yet to have honestly. Though I wish it wasn't true for your sake, though mostly for the sake of this pre-pubescent looking breakout I must endure, I must give you no points in this category. I commend you for your effort though.
I feel like I have on full face paint. I honestly don't want to smile because I can feel the stiffness. Honestly by far the heaviest feeling makeup I've ever had on aside from stage makeup. So for the lack of a cakey mask. No. That is a flat zero.
All in all this monkey bread might look good from a distance but tastes awful and gives you indigestion.
Rating? It's a nibble...
